Areas of expertise include:

Fulcrum Construction – Atlanta

Fulcrum Construction – Atlanta is our original office. It’s the retail commercial construction hub for the Eastern, Southern, and Midwestern United States. We’ll build high-quality projects for you anywhere from Delaware to Florida to Texas. We go the extra mile to please our clients – although we’d rather talk to you about it from the golf course than in traffic like our Los Angeles office!

Mike ArasinPresident Fulcrum Construction, LLC
Mike Arasin founded Fulcrum Construction in 2003. He has over 30 years experience in retail commercial construction. Mike Arasin has grown Fulcrum into the multi-branched national contracting company it is today.
Mike Maira Vice President of Operations
Mike Maira joined Fulcrum in 2013. He has over 15 years in the construction business, with extensive experience in project management. Mike Maira has been instrumental leading the company through its most recent growth period.
What do you find most challenging about retail commercial construction?

Mike Arasin: You can never expect all the challenges that lie ahead on any project. That’s why it’s so important to communicate with everyone as thoroughly and often as possible. That way you cut a lot of potential problems off at the pass.

What’s your personal philosophy on retail commercial construction?

Mike Arasin: Figure out what the client needs, and deliver it. Be generous, fair, and make each project a growth and learning experience.

Tell me one of your best moments working at Fulcrum Construction:

Mike Arasin: My favorite moment every year is the day I get to hand out the employee bonuses. It’s great to be able to reward the hard work and dedication of our loyal employees.

What’s it like working with your partner everyday?

Mike Arasin: Mike Maira is purposeful, and has a keen insight into people. He’s also fun to work with, because of his great sense of humor. Mike has been a huge part of our recent growth. As the founder, I’ve still got bragging rights on improving the company one step at a time.

What movie, no matter how many times you have seen it, do you have to watch when it is on and why?

Mike Arasin: As a golfer, I’m always compelled to watch Caddyshack. The one-liners are classic.

What do you find most challenging about retail commercial construction?

Mike Maira:  The hours required are a challenge, when you factor in the deadlines and the amount of changes that get made without any time extensions. We just put our nose to the grindstone and get it done.

What’s your personal philosophy on retail commercial construction?

Mike Maira:  Do everything possible to accommodate the customer. Bring in every project on time, and under budget if possible. Treat everyone involved the way you would like to be treated.

Tell me one of your best moments working at Fulcrum Construction:

Mike MairaA great Fulcrum moment was the completion of the 2-story Dick’s Sporting Goods in Tampa, FL.  The project had many challenges due to the existing building structure, mall connection, and other uncovered existing conditions.  We completed it in less than the original specified time frame.

What’s it like working with your partner everyday?

Mike Maira:  It’s very enjoyable working with Mike Arasin. He’s created a company culture that has a real team atmosphere. He has a real caring nature to his personality. Somehow Mike can remember literally everything. That being said, I think I’m the one with better organizational skills.

What movie, no matter how many times you have seen it, do you have to watch when it is on and why?

Mike Maira:  The Shawshank Redemption. It’s such a great movie with a strong message about never giving up that really resonates in my life and work. Not to mention the terrific acting and directing.

Willy RosnerPresident
Willy Rosner started the Los Angeles office in 2009. He has over 25 years of experience in retail construction. Under his direction the office has grown from 5 to 25 employees, and added many satisfied clients.
Aaron EvelandVice President
Aaron Eveland joined Fulcrum’s Los Angeles office in 2011. Aaron started in the construction business as a project engineer. He brings top-shelf technical project management and operational experience to the team.
What’s your personal philosophy on retail commercial construction?

Willy: There’s always plenty of reasons why a project can’t finish on time. Our job is to get it done on time despite those reasons. I believe in treating people kindly, and giving them a second chance if needed.

What’s it like working with your partner everyday?

Willy: My “work husband” Aaron and I have a lot of fun and work really hard. We respect each other and seek each other’s counsel on things all day. He’s patient, calm, cool, and collected. We compliment each other well. But I’m much funnier than he is.

What do you need to be successful in this job?

Willy:  To be successful in retail construction, you need tenacity, humility, and coffee. Lots of coffee.

What are some of your favorite activities/hobbies/pastimes outside of work?

Willy: I enjoy live music, traveling and acting. You can see me on the big screen, acting in the film The Wrestler opposite Mickey Rourke.

What is your favorite kind of cookie and why?

Willy: My Mom’s chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. They remind me of my youth.

What’s your personal philosophy on retail commercial construction?

Aaron: Being successful in this business is a result of a strong work ethic and dedication. Make sure that you are successful and everything else will fall into place.

What’s it like working with your partner everyday?

Aaron: Willy and I try to have a good time since we often spend more time together than I do with my family. We have opposite personalities and we work great together because of it. He’s a creative thinker, and has the unique ability to keep a complicated situation light for everyone involved. I may not be as funny as Willy, but I’ve got a lot more hair on my head.

What do you need to be successful in this job?

Aaron: Retail commercial construction is always changing – the clients, the market. You need patience, dedication, and organization to do it right.

What are some of your favorite activities/hobbies/pastimes outside of work?

Aaron: My first priority is spending time with my family. I love to be in the outdoors – going hiking, hunting and fishing.

What is your favorite kind of cookie and why?

Aaron: Frosted holiday sugar cookies. Because they are the best. It’s a crime we only have them at the holidays.
